Terrific atmosphere, super friendly staff, and absolute delicious food & cocktails! AFM is a must visit for sure. If you live in the area and haven't been, you don't know what you're missing!

Visited this place for the 3rd time. The first 2 times we sat at the bar on a Saturday night and the pizza was great but the service was ok. Our last visit was only 2 star. We got there on a Tuesday at 5pm. The lady who greeted us asked if we had a reservation which we didn't have and told us we could only stay until 6:30pm which was a bit annoying since the place was dead even after we left at 6:40pm. The lady didn't even offer us a seat at the bar. The special was some deep fried cauliflower which was greasy and barely any flavour. We also ordered a pizza which was mediocre and the Brussel sprouts are not the same as they used to be. Honestly the food quality of this place is going downhill. Not worth the money or time to spend at this place.

The fresh pasta was cooked to perfection and the stone oven pizza was very good. A little trouble with timing...my wife's pasta came out about 5 minutes before my pizza, and my coffee came out long after we were done the desert. But, the service was friendly and attentive. We shared the raspberry, chocolate tart, which was a delicious, fudgy, creamy thing on a crust...very good.

Have had several excellent meals here. Service is unfailingly excellent, menu choices are mouth watering, and the atmosphere is cozy without being cramped. Delicious selection of wines, and, while I have yet to taste one, the cocktails look very interesting (plus it's fun watching them being prepared). Looking forward to my next visit.

I have rated it 5 stars since we have been loving it since we found it the food is great and amazing service. Today however we went getting our normal food but we tried their lovely fried calamari which we don't usually get. We told the waitress that my sister had a nut allergy and soon after we got the calamari after chowing down my sister got a allergy attack and we had to bring her home. As it turns out the calamari had almonds so we had to go. They did not charge us but I was mad since we told the waitress but she did nothing which was not great. Following up they did give us a gift card to come back and treated us very well so I definitely reccomend this place.

Cozy neighbourhood Italian spot specializing in wood-oven baked pizza

Great atmosphere, service and food. Would suggest they create a wine list menu, though!

Wow! Delicious, authentic, fresh tasting pizza! This was our 1st experience at this food emporium... The flavours were reminiscent of our Dining experience in Italy last September! We did curb-side pickup of course. This is our new local pizzeria!

It is not possible to write a review as we weren't allowed to visit the restaurant - I have dined all over the world and booked reservations either by telephone ( old school ) or on line more recently for over 30 years - This was the first time I was asked for a credit card to hold a table for 4, in my opinion a pretty standard booking - It wasn't for a party of 8 - 10 - 12 or even 20 ! it is a pizzeria / pasta spot, ... lost count of how many there are in Toronto - Can you say contadini !

Really nice hidden gem. Dinner there was excellent. Had the mussels, octopus carpaccio, risotto balls and shared two pizzas. Food was great, fresh, great flavours. Was a bit disappointed with one of the pizzas. Came out with a paper thin base making it flimsy and difficult to hold and cut. The other pizza was made well. Either way they both tasted great, fresh out of the wood-fire oven. All in all, great place to eat. Service was also stellar.

Possibly one of the best restaurants I have been to! Can’t tell you how amazing the food was. Small space. Try not to sit near the door as it opens often and the cold air in winter is really annoying. Foodwise the caprese salad was amazing. I don’t even like tomatoes but these small baby tomatoes roasted to perfection on the vine pop in your mouth with flavour and the fresh burrata cheese was awesome. Also the truffle pasta was to die for. We ordered two extra orders after trying the first. The pizza was also quite good!!

Small place near High Park in TO. Simple menu but attentive to detail, and delicious. Reasonable wine list. Good service.

Cozy little place on Annette, I pass by every morning but had no idea it was there until we were invited by friends. Food is great, reservations would be a must on busy nights (we were there w a larger group, they have a room in the back that can be reserved but I would cap it at 14 people for comfort) all in all a good experience. Great for a date night.

My first visit to Annette Food Market was a disappointment. Yes, the pizza was delicious and the cocktails were quite good, but the service was seriously lacking. Our server (maybe Chris- that was the name on our bill) was friendly, but we barely saw him. After our cocktails I asked to see the drinks menu, then we never saw him again (until I caught another server's attention and asked for the bill). Maybe they're still getting used to their dual patio setup, but I don't think I'll return after the poor service tonight.

Such a great hidden gem! Good luck trying to decide on what to eat... Everything is so tempting 🤤Split the brussel sprouts (delicious!) and both had Ragu: beef was fantastic. Lamb special was exactly that!

Since the server was entitled to the 20% gratuity for our group (we were not informed about beforehand), it's only fair that I will leave public review to share our experience. Booked their room at the back for 14 people to celebrate my wife's birthday. Drinks and food were coming at random times, not following any logic or reason. Beef ragu tasted old, but server would roll his eyes and argue back. What sealed the deal, however, is that he refused to split the bill and asked us to "just tell me the number" which apparently makes sense customer service wise when you charge 20% on top of the bill.

I'm sure everything here is good, but I come for the pizza. It's so good. So good.

Pros: the place is small and intimate. Not too casual nor too fancy. The food is delicious; specifically, the pizza is very light, the desserts (We tried all of them) were also very light and not too sweet. The portions were just perfect too. The drinks were different and very original but all very tasty. Cons: don’t really have any... I would definitely recommend it for a date night or even a spontaneous Sunday night family dinner.

Cute and cozy little restaurant. Everything tasted very fresh and cooked perfectly. Pizza dough was nice and spotted, the truffle pasta and beef ragu were highlights of ours. They need to get an espresso machine though!

One of the most underrated spots in the city. Unreal food and pizza. The top of the top Neapolitan joints in town. And I'm a pizza psycho. If you know anything at all you won't be disappointed.

Hidden Gem! A foodies wet dream; fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, and exceptional plating. Atmosphere is very cozy, especially if you are sitting at the bar and can see the wood burning pizza oven and and the pizza specialist showing off his expertise! Best Eggplant parm I've had is a long time. Will definitely be back!

I want to give this cute place more than a 3, but can't. The wine list is very, very weak. We were a group of four and no one really liked their dishes. Pizza was soggy. Sardines too smelly to eat. Kind of place you need to flag down a server when you want something.

Food is great, small portions and is more in the $20/plate range so it's a little pricey. Huge wine list and good cocktails. Great party room in the back from small private events.

Best hidden gem in Toronto. The amazing wine selection paired with pricing that is second to none is just a few of the factors that make this my favorite restaurant. The baked cheese, pizzas and pastas are the best. Along with the cozy neighborhood “joint” vibe makes it the perfect night out. Just know that you’re required to use your credit card to secure a reservation.

After hearing such amazing things about the restaurant, I had pretty high hopes. The staff was knowledgeable & friendly: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The food was good, timely, interesting: ⭐⭐⭐⭐. The atmosphere was hipster: ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Fun place for friends to get together.

Great food, service, and wine selection. Sampled a few of their dishes and they were all wonderful. Our favourites were the short rib and the scallops were to die for. The pizza from the oven was quality! The Greenland chardonnay tasted great and was very smooth. Mixed drinks were on point too!

Loved this place. We had a room to ourselves (8 of us) which was super fun. It was shared plates and we ordered many! Several of my friends had been there before and zoned in on exactly what we should have. Everything was impossibly delicious and many varied items to choose from. They also have some fun cocktails, and lots of great wine options. The service we received was excellent and we had such an enjoyable evening. I will definitely return!

The food was great and the atmosphere is quaint be careful sitting near the door in winter though. Sitting close to the open woodfire pizza oven would be best! Again the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The drinks were great and you can tell they were well thought out. We had the pasta special with truffles and a delicious thin crust pizza. Would highly recommend as a date spot or just dinner with friends. Moderately priced and good wine selection as well.

Came here for my birthday and reserved the back room. Super cozy and terrific ambiance. Food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Great experience, 100% would come again.

Cute, cozy restaurant with amazing food and friendly staff. If you sit at the bar, you can see the chefs making all the food in their open concept kitchen.

Nice busy place with interesting food of small portions. Pleasant service. Wines selection is good, but the wines are highly overpriced. Marinated warm olives is appetizer which is wrong idea, although I do like olives but this does not make sense. So if you do not care to pay so much you might enjoy.

Cozy atmosphere, great wine list and nice cocktails, some food was underwhelming(the sprouts and arancini) but the pasta is amazing. Food took a little long too. All in all beautiful neighbourhood restaurant with a welcoming staff, extensive bar and nice food.

From outside this place looks dark and crowded but oh boy their food and service is amazing! I loved their potato pizza. Eggplant parmesan is to die for!

I celebrated my birthday last night in this delicious restaurant. Well we enjoyed a pleasant evening and the place was no doubt one of the reasons for that happy gathering. The crew contributed in a sweet manner, the cooking was great and my buddies were so delighted. We shall definitely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.
